"I grew up bouncing across hay bales on my great grandfather's farm in Louisiana. It was common to have crawfish boils or "street dances" full of great food, good company and most of all, that ol' blues music that tapped right into your heart. You couldn't help but dance.

As an adult, I longed to create music and have that feeling I did as a little girl, letting the music fill my soul. I bought a ukulele and started playing it, learning chords, strumming, singing while playing. Shortly after, I picked up my buddy's bass and started playing it with two other musicians. We got a chance to play a short set during the break of a friend's band's show. And my little brother, in all his excitement, love and support, bought me my very first bass guitar. Brand new. After playing that little set, I was hooked.

Ten years later, I have taken on bass guitar, ukulele, piano, and harmonica. Music is my happy place. I have a passion to share the positive energy I feel when I am on stage. I want to spread the joy that I felt as a child, of pure happiness and togetherness through the only universal language that moves your heart and your feet."

Hillestad - Acoustic

Kimberly and Mason are a married, touring duo act born in Louisiana and based out of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Their song "Best Views" was selected as the winner of the 2nd Annual Henry Glover Songwriting Competition, judged by celebrity Tony Stampley. Kimberly displays bluesy vocals and plays keys. Mason is a dynamic guitarist with 13 years of experience inspired by artists like Joe Satriani, Tom Scholz, and David Gilmore.

This set can be low key, soft music, or an upbeat, piano bar style show. We are open to requests before and during this show. We do songs by Bill Withers, Lorde, Cage The Elephant, and The Revivalists. Available for small venues, weddings, and events.

Kimberly, born and raised in Louisiana, brings gritty female vocals ranging from delta blues to Rock n' Roll. Mason has a versatile style on guitar, on top of his perfect tone. Noah is a skilled pianist, adding a Boogie-Woogie sound with mind-blowing solos. Tom is on bass, sitting right in the pocket. Out of Mississippi, is Jarrod on the drums with his dynamic sound going from heavy rock with impressive fills to softer fusion styles. We play songs from Cee Lo Green, Marshall Tucker Band, Finger Eleven, Black Pumas and more.
